I am the dawn

You are the rose
But I am the thorns
Like the mocking of the sun
Like the screams of stars

Bane of the butcher who ends the sheep's life’s.
Sting of the fire which sharpens the blade
Cold wind whispering in my lonely ear
Telling me that heartbreak is drawing near

Nested within my swallowed loath
Self contempt too far to be
I am the sun
But you are the sky

I am the dawn

Crimson pools of "Good-bye" And "Farewell"
Winy pools of laughter and cheer
The sun is rising, she should be waking

She is not quiet dreaming
But already sleeping.

Fantastic. The sentence "Like the scream of stars" for some reason really speaks to me. Lol

and i can certainly relate to the use of crimson pools of goodbye. Wonderful imagery. Beautiful flow to the words. I could get lost amongst these words. + fav for sure!
